Where Bluegrass Lives!
I started playing guitar at age 8, playing rhythm for Dad playing banjo. Later I moved
over to electric guiter, playing rock-n-roll during my teen years but never lost love of
bluegrass.

Later I heard some new Tony Rice stuff and bluegrass was back! When I was in my
early 20's I played with County Line Bluegrass Band for many years.

After moving to Wylie TX I was introduced to Cecil Patterson. We hit it off and
started a band called Blue River. Later Jeff Smith joined Blue River and we continued
playing with them until mid 2008. In the summer of 2008 we all left Blue River and
started down Nickelville Road!

My musical influences are many...Tony Rice, Clarence White, Bob Davis, my Dad,
my Uncle Zip, Charles Woolly, David Lege, Shannon Slaughter, Clay Jones, Kenny
Smith, Bryan Sutton, Eric Clapton, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Angus Young, Ed
Shelton, and many others.
